Hi, I’m Allison Ball, a Graphic Designer and Illustrator with (well) over two decades of experience.
Starting out as a Junior Designer in 1997, I’ve dipped my inky fingers into just about everything: corporate report design, in-house brand development, editorial, advertising campaigns, and branding. Whether I’m building a brand from the ground up or creating campaign visuals, I bring a hands-on (and often hand-made), ideas-first approach rooted in craft, collaboration, and visual storytelling.
Today, I’m Design Director at The Gate London, where I lead a brilliant team of 10 Designers, Creative Artworkers, and Animators—nurturing talent, sweating the small stuff, tweaking the kerning, and staying hands-on every step of the way. From kick-off to final artwork, I’m in it with my team.
